The Little School is a non-profit organization that is truly dedicated to its mission. It is funded, in part, by tuition, but that alone does not cover the full cost of our program. We depend on the generosity of our entire community to provide additional support with time, skills and financial resources.
Annual Fund and Auction
Like most other independent schools, The Little School relies on fundraising. In fact, approximately 10% of the school’s annual operating budget comes from fundraising through the Annual Fund and auction. This critical support allows us to keep tuition lower, providing the opportunity for families to receive tax benefits while also making attendance at The Little School a possibility to a wider range of students.
Funding for Parent Association activities, including PAC Family Events and the PAC Grant program, is bolstered by retail revenue or passive fundraising.
- When shopping on Amazon.com be sure to use The Little School link. When you do, 3-15% of your purchase price will come back to The Little School without any impact on your shopping experience. This is a different program than Amazon Smile which only yields a 0.5% donation. Amazon Fresh purchases are excluded from these programs.
- If you shop at PCC, stop by the Development Office to purchase a $10 pre-loaded PCC scrip card. Use it when you shop and refill it at PCC, and 5% of your purchase price will be donated to The Little School.
The gift of volunteering time is another important way of giving to The Little School. Whether it is driving on a field trip, helping in the library or organizing a class auction project, volunteers help to perform vital tasks for the school while also connecting us together as a stronger community.
